Thassopoula

Thassopoula is a rocky islet in northern Greece and the Thracian Sea. It is located in front of the Nestos River Delta, approximately in the middle of the eastern part of the Thassos Channel, between Thassos and the coast of Kavala prefecture. It has an area of 0.716 square kilometers[3] while its highest peak reaches 111 meters.[4] The islet is uninhabited. It is 15 nautical miles from Kavala and has three beautiful beaches.

Thassopoula is one of 30 small islets, which the Greek State plans to lease to private individuals through the State’s Private Property Development Fund for a period of 50 years.[8]
